When you contact us or request a demo, we collect your name, business email, company name, and any information you share in your message. When you use the Octopus Chat2DB platform, we collect query logs and usage metadata to deliver the service. We do not collect personal consumer data — our customers are businesses.
We use contact information to respond to inquiries and deliver the service. We use usage metadata to monitor performance, detect abuse, and improve reliability. We do not use your data or your customers' data to train AI models. We do not sell, share, or market with your data.
Query inputs and outputs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for safety monitoring, then deleted. All customer data is deleted within 30 days of contract termination upon written request.
We use third-party LLM providers under contracts that prohibit training on API data. A full list of subprocessors is available on request at legal@midwestsystems.ai.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Infrastructure is hosted in US regions. We maintain an incident response plan and will notify affected customers within 72 hours of a confirmed breach.
